Chinese Crested Rescue Organizations In All States

The Chinese Crested comes in two varieties-the hairless and the powder puff. Both of these need a lot of grooming, with weekly baths and brushing for powder puffs, and special skin care for the hairless, to avoid sunburns and irritations. These little dogs are known for being healthier than other toy breeds, although they may have some of the same health issues as the Chihuahua, such as eye problems and patella luxation. They are also prone to allergies, which can sometimes be severe and even result in death. The Chinese Crested can live anywhere from 12-14 years, although the dogs have been reported to live even longer.
