A Yorkie Poo is a cross between the Yorkshire Terrier and the Toy or Miniature Poodle. They are an intelligent, gentle and loving breed that make amazing family companions. Their small size make them ideal for apartment dwellers. The Yorkie Poo is a fun-loving breed with a confident personality and a zest for life. They are an intelligent breed and is generally a quick learner, though they can be a bit stubborn. Early and consistent training can help, though. Yorkie Poo’s do love to bark, making them excellent watchdogs but not so excellent neighbors. Their small size could be a problem for young children, but they do get along with them as well as other dogs and pets. Yorkie Poo’s can sometimes suffer from separation anxiety if left alone for too long. If you are looking for an apartment-sized dog with a love of life and a loving personality, the Yorkie Poo is for you!
