community events not only enrich the local culture but also contribute to the economy, with events like Woodbury Days reportedly attracting approximately 25,000 visitors and featuring around 200 businesses, boosting spending on food, entertainment, and vendor booths.

Such events have historically fostered the role of culture and heritage by serving as platforms for celebrating local identity and traditions, ultimately strengthening social bonds and a sense of pride.

Residents interested in being part of this vibrant celebration can get involved by organizing community events, contributing to the planning and logistics.

Woodbury Days takes place Friday through Sunday, August 22-24, 2025, at Ojibway Park with a schedule of activities stretching from a Friday evening opening to a Grande Parade at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The festival program expands on Saturday with concerts and family activities before concluding Sunday with the parade and afternoon events.

Woodbury Days impact local economies, community events designed to promote inclusivity and give all residents a chance to engage in community activities.
