Elegant and intelligent, the Toy Poodle is one of the three sizes of Poodles (Miniature and Standard are the other two) and is the smallest of the trio. The Poodle is known for their above-average intelligence. They are quick learners but early training is still necessary. This breed is totally family-oriented and love to be around their family – so much so that they can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone for long periods of time. They are extremely children-friendly and will do well with other dogs if socialized properly. This an sophisticated and clever breed that will make an excellent companion for a family looking for all the characteristics of a Poodle in smaller size!
