A study of 43,517 dogs enrolled in the Dog Aging Project found behavior problems are widespread across the United States, including about 55.6% of dogs showing moderate to serious aggression.

“Most dogs probably will show mild expressions of a problem behavior infrequently enough that an owner does not consider it important to seek help,” Bonnie V.
