Stubborn, self-satisfying, athletic and intelligent, this breed is not for everyone. Owners need to be prepared to outwit and out-strategize their dog, whether that’s through early manners training, persistent observance and/or training for a job. This breed enjoys being a therapy dog or participating in dog sports like herding or agility. It can be a delightful pet in many ways, including its playful and cheerful disposition, as well as its devotion and affection. The Polish Lowland Sheepdog is a good pet for families, though smaller children need to watched so they don’t get knocked over.
