A new breed that is not recognized by any official group, Miniature Golden Retrievers are a mix of the golden retriever, poodle, and cocker spaniel. The dogs are not always small, and many breeders are still working to create the better the breed. Thus, there are not a lot of these dogs available to the public. These dogs can be anywhere from 14 to 20 inches tall and can weigh up to 50 pounds. Because they are mixed with retriever, they are a very high energy dog, and will require lots of exercise and playtime to stay healthy and release their energy.
