The Miniature Bull Terrier is not for the first-time dog owner, and requires a lot of work. Although small, these dogs must be worked with extensively very early on and taught to obey commands. They have a tendency to think they are a big dog, and will take on confrontations with larger breeds. With proper work, this can be avoided. These dogs have a very short coat and may need sunscreen is exposed to the outdoor elements for long periods of time. Although they are generally healthy, they may experience some health issues, such as luxating patella or problems with their skin including hives and rashes. The Miniature Bull Terrier can live anywhere from 10-14 years.
