The Goldendoodle is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle and is known as being an extremely affectionate and social breed. Their friendly disposition makes them prime candidates for families, especially since they get along really well with children and other dogs. However, their social behavior can cause problems when left alone for long periods of time and actually cause separation anxiety. Their intelligence makes them quite easy to train and they are not known to be aggressive – so don’t expect the Goldendoodle to be a great watchdog! The Goldendoodle is a great choice for first time dog owners or a family looking for a great companion.
