Primarily bred to assist in bird hunting, Brittany Spaniels have many working dog characteristics that match those of the setter and pointer families. These dogs can adapt to their surroundings without any problems and they are also agile. They are usually very happy and attentive to their surroundings. The Brittany Spaniel can live for as long as 15 years and usually weighs below 18 kilograms. This dog breed is available in several color combinations, such as white and orange, white and liver, as well as black and white. Some variants are roan or piebald in color.
