Whippet Rescue Organizations In All States

Originally bred to help poachers search for rabbits and other small animals, the Whippet has a friendly personality and unique nature. They are a gentle breed that loves to be around their family and will make a wonderful family companion. Whippets usually get along well with other dogs and people, but their strong prey drive is not the best for families with cats. They get along well with children as well – often being mischievous and playful with them. This breed is great for apartment dwellers as they have moderate energy levels. Whippets hardly bark and are friendly towards everyone, making them terrible watchdogs. They are an intelligent breed, but will need early and consistent training. Whippets make great companions to those looking for a friendly and unique dog!< p>
