The Puggle, a mix between a Pug and a Beagle, is in some ways the epitome of designer breeds. People love its cute look, and both its parent breeds are beloved; however, this crossbreed is notoriously hard to predict. This is because Pugs and Beagles have contradicting personalities. Pugs tend to be playful but calm lapdogs, and Beagles have a mind of their own that can lead it to trouble and destruction. Unfortunately, Puggles are popular puppy mill dogs, so do your research on a responsible breeder. Ideally, your Puggle will be a happy, affectionate member of your family. Just try to avoid those of the breed who are hard-headed, hard to train and dare we say, cat-like in its regard toward you.
