A cross between a Beagle and a Pekingnese, the Peagle is a designer dog that elicits ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ wherever it goes. Cute as a little button, the Peagle maxes out at around 30 pounds. As with any designer dog, this cross-breed can inherit any, all or none of either parents’ trademark traits. However, in most cases the Peagle is a family-friendly dog who needs moderate exercise, likes to socialize at dog parks and enjoys quality time in an average-sized backyard with its people. Training should come fairly easily, and owners can expect a loving, loyal four-legged friend who will also stand in as a watchdog, alerting them to newcomers.
