The Norwich Terrier was originally developed in the United Kingdom, used to hunt rats and other small animals. Although healthy, they are not a common breed. This is due to the fact that they not only have small litters, but females often need to have C-sections when giving birth. These little dogs are known for being affectionate and brave. They love activity and should be given exercise. This breed enjoys being close to their humans, and should never not put in boarding or kept outside for a long period of time. They love children and do well with them, but may go after smaller household pets, such as guinea pigs and rats.
