Neapolitan Mastiff Rescue Organizations In All States

Known for being one of the older dog breeds, the Neapolitan Mastiff is used as a guard dog, and very protective of their families and properties. These dogs are cunning, and will choose to sneak when approaching intruders rather than barking and alerting them to their presence. Because of their intelligence, they need a lot of socializing and must be trained at a very early age. First time dog owners should not own them. They do need daily exercise, and benefit from having a large yard. Trips to the dog park should be avoided, since these are likely to produce unknown results with other dogs and how the Neapolitan Mastiff will react.
