If you are considering getting a Miniature Pinscher, you'll want to check out the incredible book "The Complete Guide to Miniature Pinschers". It's written by experienced Min Pin owner and author Megan Grandinetti and uses expert advice from many top breeders. Highly Reccomended. It's widely available, so pick up a copy if you see one, or click here to grab one on Amazon.
The Mini Pinscher is a playful breed that is loyal to its owner. They need to be exercised regularly in order to stay healthy; common forms of exercise are agility and obedience. These small dogs are noted for being good watchdogs, and barking when there are people present. They are considered great for apartment living because of their size, and are fairly easy for new dog owners to work with. Although heat is easy for them, they cannot tolerate cold weather well, and should wear a coat during the colder months. These little dogs shed frequently, so owners should be ready to groom them often.
