The Lhasapoo is a cross between the Lhasa Apso and the Poodle, typically a Miniature Poodle. They are generally a small-sized breed with a friendly and affectionate nature. The Lhasa Apso side in them makes them great watchdogs – they’ll bark at an approaching stranger. The Poodle side in them make them very intelligent and easily trainable. But, they can be stubborn and independent, so early training is necessary. They have a moderate activity level and will adapt to your lifestyle quite easily. The Lhasapoo loves to be around their family and do not do well being alone for long periods of time. Their size may be an issue for smaller children but overall the Lhasapoo will make a wonderful companion dog.
