French Bulldog Rescue Organizations In All States

If you are considering getting a French Bulldog, you'll want to check out the incredible book "The Complete Guide to French Bulldogs". It's written in an easy-to-understand way but still has the expert knowledge to help any new owner successfully raise their French Bulldog from puppy to old-age. It's widely available, so pick up a copy if you see one, or click here to grab one on Amazon.

Playful and intelligent, the French Bulldog didn’t, in fact, originate in France. The French Bulldog was created in England as a miniature Bulldog and ended up accompanying English lacemakers to France - where they acquired their “French” name. A free thinker, the French Bulldog is very intelligent, making them an easy training candidate. They can be a bit stubborn, though, so early and consistent training is necessary. The French Bulldog loves to be around their humans at all times. They do not do well being left alone for long periods of time. This breeds gentle demeanor makes them great around children as well and their protective nature makes them wonderful watchdogs – always alerting their family of incoming strangers. Their goofy, playful personality is infectious and you can’t help but smile while around them.
