The Bichon Frise is a small dog with a great disposition and fluffy white hair. Though they are small, they are quite hardy. They love to play and make a great family pet. Bichon Frise’s are gentle, affectionate and always happy - unless left alone for extended periods of time. A non-shedding breed, Bichon Frise’s are recommended for people with allergies.
An intelligent breed, the Bichon Frise is very trainable and enjoys learning new tricks. They generally get along well with other people and animals but will let you know if there is someone at the door. Due to their size, especially as a puppy, small children should be supervised when handling a Bichon Frise.
