Playful, friendly and full of energy, the Alaskan Malamute dog breed is a large domestic breed that were originally bred to haul heavy freight. These dogs have superior strength and endurance. Apart from being used for hauling freight, they were later also used as sled dogs. These dogs live up to 12 years, grow up to 66 centimeters in height and can weigh up to 43 kilograms. They are also affectionate and devoted, making them a good choice for many different purposes. The Alaskan Malamute comes in different colors, but always has some parts that are white. Different colors include brown, grey, sable, seal, red and black.
